Do you know where I could find some practical advice on this?
« on: September 04, 2025, 11:04:41 am »
Hi! I work at a software development company, and since most of our team is now remote, security has become one of my biggest concerns. We already use standard tools like antivirus and VPN, but I keep wondering if that’s enough. With everyone working from different places and devices, I am not sure how to keep everything really secure. Do you know where I could find some practical advice on this?

Hello! I know exactly how you feel - I had the same doubts when my company switched to remote work. By chance, I came across https://yapc10.org/, and it turned out to be a very useful resource. They have an article called The Overlooked Tool That Helps Remote Teams Stay Secure that explains common risks, why standard tools are not always enough, and introduces an effective solution many companies miss. The site also has a lot of other valuable information on business workflows, productivity, and secure file sharing, so I think you’ll find it really helpful.
